Alex Cristia

Growing up in Argentina, Alex was made aware of deep economic inequalities, animal welfare and climate change. Holder of a doctorate in linguistics (Purdue University) and an HDR (École Normale Supérieure), she is a CNRS researcher, specializing in the development of language across cultures. With Don Efficace, she wants to enable French residents to have a significant charitable impact, regardless of their level of wealth.

Toby Ord
Co-Founder of GWWC
Toby co-founded Giving What We Can and the wider effective altruism movement. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Future of Humanity Institute at Oxford University. His current research is on the long-term future of humanity, and the risks which threaten to drastically limit our potential.
William MacAskill
Co-Founder of GWWC
Philosopher Will MacAskill is a co-founder of the effective altruism movement, Giving What We Can, 80,000 Hours, and The Centre for Effective Altruism, and the author of "Doing Good Better" and "Moral Uncertainty". He is an Associate Professor in Philosophy and Research Fellow at the Global Priorities Institute, University of Oxford.
Anne Schulze
Co-Founder of GWWC
Administration at ESB Reutlingen and CESEM Reims. After her studies, she worked for a humanitarian organization in Guatemala, then for the Boston Consulting Group. Co-founder of Effektiv-Spenden,, today she focuses on finance, human resources and processes, among others.

Josh Axford
Co-Founder of GWWC
Josh Axford studied at Durham University and taught English and maths at a free school in one of Nairobi's poorest areas. He had a long career in operations at the Center for Effective Altruism in the UK and the Marine Megafauna Foundation, before becoming Chief Operating Officer of Effective Ventures Foundation, a federation of organizations and projects aiming to have a significant positive impact in the world.

Josh Axford a étudié à l’université de Durham et a enseigné l’anglais et les mathématiques dans une école gratuite située dans l’une des zones les plus pauvres de Nairobi.
